Sager Pierre Olofsson was born on 4th February 1921 in Paris. He was a Swedish painter, printmaker and sculptor.

Olofsson attend the Otte Sköld School of Painting (1938-1943). The Otte Sköld School of Painting was founded in 1929 by Åke Pernby (1902-1981) and Joseph Otte (1894-1957). In 1949 it became the Pernbys Målarskola (Pernbys painting school). Olofsson then studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts (Kungliga Konsthögskolan) in Stockholm.

A comitted concretist (Konkretism), Olofsson was a member of '1947 års män' (the men of 1947) group alongside Lage Lindell (1920-1980), Uno Vallman (1913-2004), and fellow student Lennart Rodhe (1916-2005) - with whom he exhibited with (in 1947) at the exhibition Ung konst (Young Art) at the Gallery Färg och Form (Colour and Shape) at Brunkebergstorg in Stockholm. Färg och Form was an exhibition space in Stockholm where artists were able to sell their works directly to buyers.

Olofsson also worked as a industrial colourist at Saab Automobile - where he worked alongside the Swedish industrial designer Sixten Sason (1912-1967) and at The Husqvarna Group, where he developed their logotype and corporate identity with the Swedish designer Sune Envall (b.1944).

Examples of Olofsson worh are held at the Moderna Museet (Museum of Modern Art) in Stockholm, the Malmö Art Museum, the Norrköping Art Museum and the Sundsvall Museum.

Olofsson died in Stockholm on 17th March 1996, aged 75.
