Malte Karl-Axel Axelsson was born in Ryssby on 10th July 1905. He was a Swedish artist.
He was a self-taught artist.
Axelsson first exhibited in Jönköping (1943). Other solo exhibitions include Stockholm (1946), Östersund (1947), Jönköping (1947), Södertälje and Uddevalla (1948), Trollhättan, Vänersborg and Oskarshamn (1949). He also regularly exhibited with the Småland Artists Association
Malte Axelsson died in Jönköping on 30th March 1998, aged 92
