Claës Lennard Wallbrand was born in Stångby Parish, Lund on 30th March 1927. He was a Swedish artist and designer.

Wallbrand worked as a commercial artist in the advertising industry. He exhibited paintings at the Skåne Art Association's (Skånes Konstförenings) Autumn Salons in Malmö during the early 1950s

Examples Wallbrand's work are held in the collections of Malmö Museum, Helsingborg Museum and Ystad Art Museum.

Claës Wallbrand died in Malmö on 25th May 2008, aged 81.

Gemla Fabrikers AB

Gemla Fabrikers are a Swedish furniture manufacturers who have been at the forefront of handmade bentwood furniture design and production since 1861. The durability of their furniture has made them popular with the hotel and restaurant industry. The renowned restaurateur Tore Wretman (1916-2003), chose Gemla to furnish his Operakällaren restaurant in Stockholm following it's refurbishment during the late 1950s (reopening in 1961).
