Viking Forsberg was born in Norrköping in 1910. He was a Swedish artist.

Forsberg studied at the Konstfack (University College of Arts, Crafts and Design) in Stockholm.

He then returned to Norrköping and served as a firefighter, but continued to work as an artist from a studio he set up at the firestation. When Forsberg retired from firefighting (aged 55) in 1965, he became a full-time artist.

Forsberg painted landscapes and portraits as well a producing many woodcuts. Examples of his work can be seen in the museums at Norrköping and Linköping - as well as a mural at the Norrköping fire station.

Forsberg died in 1994, aged 84.
