Inge Lindemark (b.1929

Inge Lindemark was born in Middelfart, Denmark on 12th December 1929. She is a Danish artist.

Lindemark was a student of the artists Peter Rostrup Bøyesen (1947), Bizzie Høyer (1948) and Erling Frederiksen (1949) before attended the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts (Kunstakademiet), Copenhagen (1950-1954) where she studied under the Danish artists William Scharff (1886-1959) and Olaf Rude (1886-1957)

Lindemark travelled to France & Spain (1952), Italy (1953) and Italy & Greece (1959). She married fellow artist Jørn Larsen (1926-2004) on 19th March 1955 in Copenhagen

Lindemark first exhibited at the Grand Hotel, Vejle (October 1954). Other solo exhibitions include Copenhagen (1960); Athenæum, Copenhagen (1968) and Galerie Asbæk, Copenhagen (1977, 1989 and 1990). Group exhibitions include Autumn Art Exhibition (Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling / KE), Copenhagen (1952, 1956-61, 1964); Købestævnet, Fredericia (1959, 1962); Kunst på Arbejdspladsen (Art at the Workplace), KPA, Copenhagen (1964 and 1969); 'Ung dans Kunst' (Young Danish Art), Free Exhibition Building (Den Frie Udstillings), Copenhagen (1965); 'M.59', Århus Kunstbygning (now Kunsthal Aarhus), Aarhus (1970); '12 Abstrakte', Nikolaj Kunsthal, Copenhagen (1972); Grønningen, Kunsthal Charlottenburg, Copenhagen (1973); 'Vejle kunstnere gennem 75 år', Vejle Kunstmuseum (1977); Kunstnere for Fred (Artists for Peace), Kunsthal Charlottenburg, Copenhagen (1983).
