Tadeusz Kamasa 1924-2003

Tadeusz Marian Kamasa was born in Poznan, Poland on 22nd September 1924. He was a Polish-Swedish artist and designer.

Before becoming a Swedish citizen (in 1944), Kamasa attended the Academy of Arts in Krakow. He then attended The Royal Institute of Art (Kungliga Konsthögskolan) in Stockholm (1947-1950). Kamasa travelled extensively through Italy, Denmark and Norway

Kamasa first exhibited at the Småland Autumn Exhibition (Smålands Höstutställning) in 1949. He also exhibited in Tranås in 1951. He frequently exhibited in Italy and was awarded a gold medal for his Landscape painting when he exhibited in Turin in 1967.

Tadeusz Kamasa died in Sweden in 2003, aged 78.
